Some independent general notes and advice on responding to planning applications can be viewed by clicking here.
Remember that when objecting you should not focus on loss of view or property value as the Planning Department will not take these into consideration. Their criteria for approving or rejecting the application will be based on issues directly relating to the site and the surrounding area.
Friends Of Abbeyfields have noticed that many of the letters available on the Cheshire East web site which are in support of the application are from people who do not live locally. You may wish to include this observation in your letter or e-mail.
Please help to keep other members and non-members informed by passing on this information via print or eMail. Please circulate it to as many people as possible.
Some of you have been in touch with other groups who express an interest in objecting once the planning application had been submitted. Please can you get in touch with these groups and the let them know.
